Lots coming up for me in the next week.
Firstly, I am having my gallbladder removed on Wednesday. I am pretty terrified to say the least. The entire process scares me, and I am not looking forward to it at all. I am hoping for a quick and painless recovery. Im nervous that my body will not like the procedure, and will freak out on me. Hopefully I have a strong Liver willing to take over some extra work....otherwise things will get messy.
Secondly, Friday is New Years Eve, one of my favorite celebrations of the year. While most people my age are out partying, drinking, dancing..etc, I much prefer to stay at home. I have watched several orchestras and symphonies over the past few years on New Years Eve. I love every second of it. I relax in the warmth of my living room, eating my favorite foods, with my best friend, and just let the year slip into the next. It is excellent. This year, however, I will be recovering from my surgery, and I am afraid it will spoil my lovely evening.
Thirdly, one week after my surgery is my birthday. I have mixed feelings for this day...though I suppose most people do. I am eager to begin a new chapter in my life, and yet, I am sad to leave my past years behind me. Will I forget these years? I hope not. While much of them were heartbreaking, stressful and full of mistakes, I learned a tremendous amount about myself and my world. I hope I will continue to learn as much as I did these past years. Do birthdays get better with age? Will I feel worse and worse as the number goes up? Hmmm....
Lots of interesting stuff floating around in my brain this week.
We will see how it goes.

Christmas is done! Whew!
While Christmas isnt my favorite holiday, and it always seems to be shitty, it always ends on a good note for me. One thing I am especially happy about is the new quilt I recieved from my Grandmother. It is beautiful- and huge. She worked so hard to make it for me, and it is perfect. I love her.
Grandmothers rock.

Blogs..hmmm.
I have no idea what Iam doing trying to blog.
I love reading other peoples blogs..but I dont know that I have enough to say in mine.
Perhaps I will learn over time.
Who knows.
So, if you are a blogger yourself, please help me.
What do you normally blog about?
What do you like to read in others blogs?
