"Men succeed when they realize that their failures are the preparation for their victories"
Ralph Waldo Emerson

While I wish that this quote read "People" rather than "Men", I think this quote is some really good food-for-though. Too often people make a mistake or a failure, and think "it's the end of the world!" or " wow, I really screwed up this time".  The way I look at it, and apparently the way Emerson thinks of it too, if that our failures help guide us to the right answers. For every achievment I have made, there is a good, long list of "failures" behind it. For example, I am currently a full time college student. I also happen to have a 3.8 GPA, and I consider this a great "victory". However, I would not have the determination to get good grades, had I not made the mistakes I did. I took a year off after highschool, and during said year off, I became deeply depressed, and I longed for all of the things my friends had ( yes, even homework!).

So, let's not forget that just because you think you have made a mistake in your past, that it doesnt mean you will never make a vistory for yourself. Let your mistake guide you to where you want to be.

Okay? Good.
