Open your heart to me....baby!

What do Madonna, Nick Jr, and Tuna Fish sandwiches all have in common? They remind me of my childhood.

As a preschooler, I remember hangin' out with my mom in our living room. My mom would "work out" in our living room, listening to Madonna on our big stereo. She would make me a Tuna Fish sandwich, cut it in to quarters, and put chips in the middle. It was Heaven. There was simply nothing better than singing and dancing around, eating, and being with my mom. And, on the days where working out was not the first thing on my mothers mind, I remember watching a lot of Nick Jr. I would watch "Little Bear" often, as well as a show called "Allegras Window". I think "Little Bear" was the first show to introduce classical music in my little preschool self  world. Whenever I hear Cello's, I instantly think of Little Bear, and all of adventures he had with his friends Duck, Owl, Cat...etc.

I can look back at these memories, and just smile. It was such a wonderful time in my life. I was so happy, and content with life. I had everything I could possible need. Because, really, who wouldnt want a life filled with awesome 80's music, tuna fish sandwiches, great cartoons with inspiring music, and their mom?

Yeah.
