Tony Night!

Tonight is Broadway's biggest night! The 65th Annual Tony Awards! An evening of singing, dancing, acting, laughing and tears of joy! Celebrate the magic that is Broadway, and watch this evening's show at 8:00! ( Or, if you are lucky enough, go to time's square for the free viewing!)

One thing I like about this year's Tony Awards, is that it is being hosted at The Beacon ( a much smaller theatre than the Tony's usual home of Radio City Music Hall). It is a more intimate affair, and really give the presentors, performers, nominees, and everyone attending, a warm, cozy, community-like vibe.

If we want to continue with magical Broadway shows; full of beautiful sets, costumes, music, words, dancing, and speaking, let's not forget to SUPPORT THE ARTS IN EDUCATION!!! Our future actors, musicians, playwrights, choreographers..etc, need to be able to have a solid arts education. Art classes, music and band classes..all of these programs get cut from school budgets.

Let's INSPIRE. CREATE. MOTIVATE.
LONG LIVE THE ARTS!
